Dr. Jur. Irina Gencheva has a profound professional experience in the following areas:

Mrs. Gencheva graduated from the University of Sofia St. Kliment Ohridski with a Master of Laws and the Friedrich-Alexander University, Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany with a Doctoral degree in law, in the field of civil procedure.

During the 1990’s she acted as an in-house legal consultant for several private ventures. She accumulated professional experience and became legal associate of several European projects in the area of justice and home affairs, as well as consultant of the EU experts on the issues of comparative law.

  • Translation of the Bulgarian Code of Penal Procedure, with introduction, 2006.
  • Thesis on The Principle of Priority in the field of temporary relief measures according to German and Bulgarian law, 2011.
